Sourdough Made Simple

This hands-on workshop makes artisan sourdough baking approachable, practical, and fun.

You’ll learn the basics of caring for and feeding a sourdough starter, mixing and handling dough, understanding fermentation, and practicing the stretch-and-fold technique while seeing dough at each stage of the bread-making process. We’ll break down the process step by step, share helpful tips for troubleshooting common challenges, and show you how to fit sourdough baking into your everyday routine.

We’ll sample freshly baked classic and rosemary Parmesan sourdoughs served with herbed dipping oil, and discuss flavor add-ins and recipe ideas.

Each participant will go home with an active sourdough starter in a jar, a dough ball ready to proof and bake at home, a detailed step-by-step instruction guide, and recipes so you can confidently continue baking at home.
