Join us at Mimms Museum of Technology and Art in Roswell, GA for a festive workshop of spooky fun and pretty lettering for beginners!
Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Mimms Museum of Technology and Art is located at 5000 Commerce Parkway, in Roswell, GA, just north of the intersection of Alpharetta Highway and Holcomb Bridge Road. The museum's main entrance is at the rear lower level of Roswell Town Center, adjacent to Aurora Cineplex and Fringe Miniature Golf.
Ample and free parking is available in front of the museum main entrance. Additional parking is available past the parking lot immediately adjacent to the mini-golf courses, with a short walk to the museum’s main entrance.
